Hauling wood on sleds to the place where the house is being built, from 17 September 1596. In the background the Behouden Huys under construction, on the left the stranded ship. Copies of the original illustrations in the travel report of the voyage of Willem Barendsz and Jacob van Heemskerck in 1596-1597 and the stay on the island of Nova Zembla, No. 14.
