Siege by the Spaniards under Mendoza of Zaltbommel and other strongholds in the Bommelerwaard in the hands of the States army under prince Maurice, and the construction of the fort Sint-Andries, early May to September 1599. Left the Meuse, bottom the Waal, in the middle Bommel. Printed separately below the plate the legend 1-16 and A-E in Dutch.
