About this work

The three main players in the conspiracy against Maurice, Hendrick Danielsz Slatius, Reinier van Barnevelt and Adriaen Adriaensz van Dijck. In the background in small scale the conspiracy in a tent, arrest, flight and executions. Top left an inset with the beheading of Slatius. Added in round medallions the portraits of Abraham and Jan Blansaert, Willem Perty and David Coorenwinder. Printed below the image a second conversation between a farmer and his lord and the legend in 3 columns in Dutch.
