About this work

Allegory on the Peace of the Pyrenees of 7 November 1659, which put an end to the Franco-Spanish War, and the engagement of Louis XIV to the Spanish Infanta Maria Theresia, which sealed the peace. Two columns of text in Latin and Dutch. On both sides six separate depictions of the psychomachia of the seven virtues.
