Burnt house on the Leidsegracht, at the corner with the Herengracht, in Amsterdam. After the fire on 12 January 1684 during a severe frost. Extinguished with hose fire pumps. With onlookers on the ice of the frozen canal. Later state (with the letter) is plate 17 in the Fire Pump Book by Jan van der Heyden.
