Reception and initiation of a new member of the Bentvueghels, ca. 1700. Members of the bentvogels, the group of Dutch artists in Rome, dressed as bacchants with a priest pointing a stick at the new member. In the inscription verses of 4 lines in Latin and French and 8 lines in Dutch.
