About this work
The share ship of Madame Company and Monsieur Bubble gets into heavy weather. Emblem with a boat at sea, in a frame with fish, sea creatures, and two interlocking hands with a heart as a sign of marital fidelity. In the caption a verse of four lines. Top left traces of the polished-out number 32. Printed on the sheet around and under the plate are five verses. Print 39 in the series The Great Mirror of Folly with satirical prints on Wind Trading or Share Trading of 1720.
