Mirror of Reason for the Desperate Actionist. A wind trader about to stab himself in the chest with a dagger is shown a mirror by the personification of Reason. In the background, Prudence with a shield marked Y (= the IJ in Amsterdam) holds back the wind traders. Three parts of text surround the plate. Print 34 in the series The Great Mirror of Folly with satirical prints on Wind Trading or Share Trading of 1720.
