Allegory on the dismissal of the eight directors of the Surgeons' Guild in Amsterdam, 24 January 1732. Meeting of the directors led by Abraham Titsingh in the guild chamber; on the right, three grinning directors walk away with money from the widows' fund. On the wall, several allegorical paintings; above the gate: Theatrum Anatomicum. In the caption, a two-line verse. Written bottom right: Original.
