Allegory on the installation of William IV as stadtholder in 1747. Stadtholder William IV seated on a throne receives the government from the Dutch Maiden. In the clouds, Peace and Fame blowing a trumpet with the banner Historia Belgii; in the foreground, right, cherubs referring to the Windhandel of 1720. In the background, Minerva and Mercury mourning at the tomb of the prince who died in 1751. In the legend of ten lines, an explanation of the representation.
