About this work
The rescue by the Naerebout brothers of the 87 crew members of the stranded VOC ship Woestduin (Woestduyn) on 25 July 1779 at the Noorderrassen, off the Zeeland coast. With a long inscription beginning: "Behold! The ship Woestduin is perishing."
