About this work

Satirical print on the delegation of 23 patriots arriving at the town hall of Rotterdam to force the dismissal of some Orangist councilors, 23 [=3] April 1787. The members of the delegation, numbered 1-23, are walking up the steps of the town hall. In front of the steps, two shooters as keeshonden dogs with cannons. On the sheet below the print, the legend of the names 1-23.
