About this work

Orangist allegorical representation in which a Batavian as Hercules drives the monster of Discord to hell. On the left side of the medallion, a trophy with the arms of Discord, on the right side a trophy with the arms of Concord. At the top, the sun shines with an Orange branch and an olive branch, at the bottom darkness reigns with a skull and patriotic pamphlets. With Latin border inscription. Used in a letter from Johannes le Francq van Berkhey in 1787. The print is accompanied by a title page and explanation.
