About this work
Allegorical representation in which an olive tree and also a tree of liberty is planted. Hanging from the tree are the names of Brabant patriots. Four soldiers plant a fence of laurel bushes around the tree. With an inscription of eight lines in French in which Van der Noot and Van der Mersch are praised. Here the date February 24, 1790 is handwritten. Part of a large group of prints relating to the events of the Brabant Revolution and the period 1787-1790.
