About this work
Allegory on the preservation of freedom and religion in the Republic, thanks to the support of God and the Coalition troops, through the victory over the French troops in February 1793. Religion, the Dutch Maiden with a spear of liberty and the Dutch lion at an altar. On the right, in a dark cloud, French weapons, a mask, and a banner marked 'Egalite Liberte'. At the bottom, the arms of the Stadtholder and of Austria. A text sheet belongs to the print.
