About this work

The Naval Battle of Kamperduin on 11 October 1797 between the Batavian fleet under the command of Vice-Admiral Jan Willem de Winter and a British fleet under Admiral Adam Duncan. Middle of the battle. In the center, the Vrijheid (this ship under the command of De Winter) and the Hercules cutting its burning mizzenmast; on the right, the English fleet. Below the title, the legend 1-3.
