About this work
The Naval Battle of Kamperduin on 11 October 1797 between the Batavian fleet under the command of Vice-Admiral Jan Willem de Winter and a British fleet under Admiral Adam Duncan. End of the battle. In the center, the Vrijheid (this ship under the command of De Winter) mastless between three English ships and the Hercules where people are still trying to extinguish the fire; further, disordered Batavian ships under the English ships. Below the title, the legend 1-5.
