The angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will become pregnant. Mary sits at a table with an open book. To the left a bed. The Holy Spirit descends as a dove. Above it the tetragram as a symbol of God the Father and cherubim. Below the scene a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Luke 1.
