About this work
A half-naked woman with a lute in her hand lies on a bed of cushions on a rocaille throne with half-moons. The throne extends at the bottom into a waterfall. To the left stand two servants, to the right two servants bow respectfully. Above on the right stands the sultan with a staff. In the background fountains and the sun.
