Allegory on the 100th anniversary of Dutch Freedom, 1648-1748. The personification of Dutch Freedom with spear, hat, and banner with Prince William IV receives the Century that has descended from the clouds. On the throne canopy, busts of the stadtholders, at the feet of Freedom the enemy defeated during the Revolt: the Catholic Church. Design for a print.
