About this work
Allegory with the glorification of the coat of arms of Prince Willem IV. The crowned coat of arms carried by two putti, with the All-Seeing Eye in the sky. On the left, the female personification of Faith kneeling before an altar; on the right, a woman with a harp (Harmony?) with a lion, eagle, and stork. Probably made upon the death of the stadtholder on 22 October 1751. Design for a print.
