About this work
While religion is important to every Hindu, keeping it alive is often a woman’s task. Women fast for the welfare of family members and are responsible for preparing special food and decorations for festivals. Still, religion can be a source of profound satisfaction and visiting a temple is a private moment away from the household chores.
