In a palace room, a royal couple wrapped in a blue shawl sits; the woman has the long hose of a water pipe standing before her in her mouth; the man takes something from a box offered by a maid; through the window behind them in the middle, a landscape is visible of white mountains, a blue wall with a bowl on it, and green round trees; the windows on either side are filled in black. Around the scene a dark blue (or black?) border with a flower motif in lilac and orange; the border is slightly damaged and irregularly cut.
