About this work

Hollow, black-stained profile frame. The core is made of softwood and the profile is veneered with walnut. The frame profile consists of four parts: an inner edge with a slight convexity, a wide rising hollow part, a narrower hollow part, and an outer edge that rises slightly hollow and ends in a semi-circular ridge. On the back, the frame has a wooden construction to achieve the depth required for the matting. The glass is original, and the original wooden hanging eye on the back is still present.
