About this work

Octagonal porcelain dish with straight, flaring walls, painted on the glaze in red, green, yellow and black. The flat of the dish features compartments in the shape of a flower, with a floral scroll in the center and lotus scrolls on a diaper pattern in the petal-shaped compartments; between the leaf-shaped compartments a swastika pattern with a flower; on the rim a diaper pattern. A crack in the rim of the dish. Famille rose.
