About this work

Porcelain ear cup with lid, globular body and braided ear, painted on the glaze in red, black and gold. On the outer wall an unidentified coat of arms with a hand holding a staff against a white background; around the coat of arms the inscription 'JE LE MAINTIENDRAI'. On either side of the coat of arms flower branches with symbols of luck. On the outer rim a band with lacework. Coat of arms porcelain in enamel colors.
