Saucer with the arms of the Certon family

Porcelain plate, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. On the center the coat of arms of the family Certon. The coat of arms is divided into four quarters: 1. on a red background a peacock and in the upper right a golden sun, 2. two crossed eagle wings with above on a blue background the head of an eagle and two golden stars, 3. on a black background three eyes or mussels, 4. two green trees with in the middle a red star. In the center a heart shield with on a golden background a quiver, arrows and a bow. No crest is depicted. The mantling consists of leaf vines in red and white, green palm branches and rocaille vines in gold and pink. Under the coat of arms a scroll with the inscription 'SINE LABORE NIHIL'. On the rim a band of vines, feathers, foliage, two golden suns and the monogram 'J.P.C.'. Old label on the underside with 'de Rigail Certon'. Armorial porcelain with enamel colors.
