Plate with an iceskating scene

Porcelain plate, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, aubergine and black. On the flat surface a depiction of a skating couple with two sticks in their hands, with several other figures in the background, based on an engraving by Cornelis Dusart (1660-1704); the wall features four floral garlands; the rim has a band with fruit and flower branches. Several chips on the rim. On the underside an old label with 'engraving by Dussart. "The 12 Months"'. European representation in enamel colors.
