About this work
Lid of a high, hexagonal porcelain lid finial, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. A flower rosette depicted in a medallion; around it six compartments with flowering plants (e.g. lotus, chrysanthemum, peony) with bird or insect; the reverse with six flower sprays. Famille rose.
