Triple gourd vase painted in Japanese style with large flower sprays

Knobbed porcelain vase with three knobs and spreading neck, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze with red, green and gold. Painted in Japanese style with large flower branches (prunus, chrysanthemum, peony, hibiscus and iris); on the neck a band with standing leaf motifs; between the knobs and on the rim a band with lacework with flower; around the foot a decorative band. Rim damaged. Chinese Imari.
