Covered jar with ruyi-heads and flowers

Egg-shaped pot with lid of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine and black. The pot is decorated with three compartments in the shape of a lobed rhombus with here a peony surrounded by stylised scrolls; between the three compartments a ruyi motif and flower branches. Around the foot an ornamental band; around the shoulder a band with ruyi motifs. On the lid a stylised peony with branches and straw flowers. A crack in the lid. Famille verte.
