About this work
Egg-shaped porcelain pot, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, and black with flowers and stylized vines. The pot is decorated with three compartments in the shape of a lobed rhombus containing a peony surrounded by stylized vines; between the three compartments a ruyi motif and flower branches. An ornamental band around the foot; a band with ruyi motifs around the shoulder. Famille verte.
