About this work
Cylindrical vase (rolling carriage) of porcelain with a narrow, spreading neck, painted in underglaze blue. On the body, a dignitary before a pavilion in a landscape with two servants holding fans behind him. Next to them are two more servants. He receives a woman, behind whom stands another man. In the landscape are rocks and plants. On the neck, four times a tulip motif separated by a pearl with dots. The base is unglazed. Transitional porcelain in blue and white.
