About this work
Underkimono (nagajuban) for a man with a decoration on the upper half of the back panels depicting a green dragon rising from the water, imitating an ink painting by the Kyoto artist Kondô Shiun. Three bands with a diamond pattern above and below. Light grey silk with stencilled yuzen decoration and splashed detailing. Lining of white silk.
