Bowl of porcelain with a spreading rim, painted in underglaze blue. On the outer wall two cartouches with a scene: a woman (long robe) with a fan and a man on an enclosed terrace by a pavilion; two men, one sitting on a stool, on an enclosed terrace in front of a room screen with a water landscape. On the bottom three playing boys (jesters) with a ball in a landscape. The inner and outer side of the rim with plum blossoms on a background of 'crackled ice'. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in a double circle. Blue and white.
