About this work

Bowl of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the outside two compartments with narrative views: three persons in an interior and two seated persons in an interior, between the compartments a tree at a rock; on the bottom three playing boys (clowns) in a landscape. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in a double circle. Blue-and-white.
