Square bowl of porcelain with flat corners, painted in underglaze blue. On the outside of the bowl four compartments each with a woman (long figure) in a landscape, the flattened corners with filet work above a ruyi motif; on the bottom three playing boys (zotjes) in a landscape. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Chenghua in a double circle. A chip and crack in the rim. Blue-and-white.
