About this work

Porcelain plate with a round wall, painted in underglaze blue and on biscuit with green, yellow, aubergine, and black. On the flat, in a medallion, two dragons chasing pearls among clouds and flames; on the wall, various flowering plants (e.g., lotus, chrysanthemum, peony, prunus); the exterior also with dragons. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in a double circle. Email sur biscuit.
