About this work

Porcelain dish with round body, painted in underglaze blue and on biscuit in green, yellow, aubergine, and black. On the flat surface, in a medallion, two pearl-chasing dragons among clouds and flames; on the body, various flowering plants (including lotus, chrysanthemum, peony, prunus); the exterior also with dragons. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in a double circle. Émail sur biscuit.
