About this work
Pear-shaped porcelain milk jug with handle, curved spout and silver mount, painted in underglaze blue. On the body, twice two women (long-robed) in an enclosed garden, below twice a rock with flowers; the lid with two dancing boys (fools) with two rocks. Marked on the underside with an artemisia leaf. Crack in the body of the jug, spout has been broken. Blue and white.
