Baluster-shaped ewer of porcelain with a trumpet-shaped mouth, painted in underglaze blue. On the body two large cartouches with indented corners with narrative scenes: a meeting between a scholar and a dignitary in an interior and two scholars in an enclosed garden looking at a bull, presented by a servant. On the neck also two scenes: a dignitary on a terrace in front of a pavilion with two servants and a meeting between a scholar and a dignitary in a landscape. Around the foot, on the shoulder and the outer rim a band with a cloud motif. Blue and white.
