A soldier, full-length, facing right, lifting a pike horizontally above his right shoulder with both hands (no. 27), ca. 1600. Plate 27 in the instructions for handling the pike: Corte onderwysinghe op de figuerliicke afbeeldinghe belanghende trechte gebruck, van alle t'ghene een Soldaet int handelen vande Spies noodich is.
