About this work

The truce on 24-25 December 1601. Isabella and Albert present themselves among a large crowd in front of the besieged city. Bottom left a cartouche with an inscription in Latin. Above the print the title with explanation of the numbers, at the bottom a description of the events, in German. Part of the illustrations for a journal of the siege of Ostend 1601-1604.
