Heavy assault on the defensive works of Ostend by the Spanish troops under Albert, 7 January 1602. In the bottom left, an inset with a picture of a female Spanish soldier involved in the fighting; in the top right, a cartouche with an inscription in Latin. Above the print, the title with an explanation of the numbers; at the bottom, a description of the events in German. Part of the illustrations for a journal of the siege of Ostend 1601–1604.
