Man and woman in costumes from the Zeeland island of Zuid-Beveland. The farmer with a spade in his hand, and the woman wears a wide red skirt. Part of a bound edition of the series of twenty-four plates of Dutch costumes in the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the beginning of the nineteenth century by Maaskamp, 1829.
