About this work

Natural-colored bobbin lace collar. Pattern with short vines, rosettes, and candelabras or flower baskets, in which various decorative stitches and shape forms are bobbin-laced, are connected by garlands of volutes and a lattice ground into a symmetrical design. Bobbin-laced relief borders surround some details of the decoration. Three sides of each collar are scalloped with two repeating motifs.
