Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Swedish lace. The strip is pinned to a light blue card with seven other strips. At the top of the card is written "Laces From Skåne. Sweden." and under the strip is written "From Tosterup". Tosterup is a castle in Skåne, which is in the south of Sweden. The repeating pattern consists of a rhombus alternating with a pointed oval. Along the underside, linked triangles form a decorative band. The motifs are made in linen stitch with cutouts. The top side of the strip is finished straight. The straight underside is finished with alternating a series of eight and a series of three picots with always a small interruption in between.
