Baptismal Cloth of Machine-Made Tulle with Two Rows of Flower Branches Along One Short Side

Baptismal cloth of natural-colored applied lace: batiste applied on machine-made tulle with machine embroidery. Rectangular model. Running along the scalloped edges is a repeating pattern with in each half-circular shell a three-part, serrated leaf with a blossom branch attached to it. The leaf is of batiste finished with a simple machine-embroidered edge. The blossom branches with openwork flowers are of machine embroidery. Along one short side is a double row of curved blossom branches, the rest of the central field is empty. It concerns four different types of branches with on the lower row seven branches, where two types alternate. The row above consists of five blossom branches, where also two types stand next to each other alternately, with different flowers than in the lower row. The scalloped edge is finished with a simple machine-embroidered edge and looks a bit like a festooned edge.
