Cuff of mixed lace with circular border and curling openwork branches with small flowers on both sides

Cuff of natural-colored mixed lace: pearlized rosaline, bobbin lace with relief parts of needle lace. Narrow rectangular model, slightly wider in the middle. Symmetrical pattern with in the center a circular frame from which on either side a curling sparse branch emerges. On this branch are various short side branches with small flowers. Five-petaled linked small roses form the straight lower edge. The upper edge and sides consist of shallow, stretched shells, alternated by roses. The motifs are executed in linen stitch with openwork edges and fine cutouts. At various places, especially in the flower hearts, relief is created with needle lace 'pearls' made with buttonholed rings. The motifs are connected by a plait ground with some picots. In a single flower heart sparingly a decorative ground is applied and in two small flowers a spider.
