Walnut bench with poplar interior

Bench of walnut with poplar wood interior and decorated with intarsia. In the base a frieze with meander border in intarsia. The front is slightly convex and shows at the corners and in the middle a slightly protruding field, between which two smooth panels; all this within profiled frames and surrounded by intarsia borders. The middle part forms the lid of the chest. The side walls have smooth panels. See also BK-16632 and BK-NM-12354.
